Truma to launch new motor movers

Truma has a new, entry-level motor mover, which the company plans to reveal at the CMT show in Stuttgart early next year.

The Truma Mover Smart comes in two versions, namely the M and A versions, which are manual and automatic options. You activate the M version using a lever on its side. You activate the A version at the touch of a button which moves the rollers onto your tyres.

The Truma Mover Smart are suitable for single axle caravans weighing up to 1,800 kg for the M model, and 2,000 kg for the A model.

Owners manoeuvre their caravans using the intuitive remote control. The built-in soft start function means the caravan does not jolt from a standstill when you first touch the button. The new motor mover stops immediately when you let go of the buttons and keeps your caravan in the exact position when you let go.

The Truma Mover smart motor movers can manoeuvre your caravan on slopes with gradients up to 13%.

The aluminium rollers on the motor movers are tough and grip the tyres well. Truma says their new motor movers are easy to retrofit on the most common caravan chassis.

The new Mover Smart motor movers will be available from January 2020. The M version will cost around £1,000. The A version will cost around £1,500. All Truma motor movers come with a 5-year warranty.
